An Emma photo session (a.k.a "Humor her Mother")

Sometimes when you are taking photos of your baby, you get to a point where every one of the photos is cute in its own way and you can't decide which ones to post on a blog--hence, you post them all (or most). Sorry. I couldn't help myself.

Sweet potatoes and peas

For some reason, the blog site jumbled these all together, but I'm sure our blog followers can figure out what Emma's eating based on the puree color. She loved both the peas and sweet potatoes. She also liked yellow squash and fennel. Surprisingly, though, she HATED banana, and spit it out! I guess we've got a veggie baby (for now).

Rice cereal!

Yummers!

Emma at playtime

Emma has been enjoying many of Madeleine's old toys/activity centers. Above, you see her in the jumpy seat. She is our little Tigger--she loves to bounce!

One night, Frank played some internet clips from a TV channel we had in Geneva called "Baby TV." Emma found it somewhat interesting, but for Madeleine, it was a complete flashback--she was transfixed:

Emma in the Bumbo seat, with Madeleine's old lion. Both girls LOVE this toy:

And with another little yellow lion, because as we all know, you can never have too many yellow lion toys:

On the activity mat. Yes, that is a Caterpillar bib:

And in her new favorite, the ExerSaucer!

More photos to come!

Some (semi-) recent photos of Emma

Frank and I have been trying to photographically capture Emma's baby moments, since we realize they are fleeting and before we know it, she'll be driving. Between the both of us, we've probably taken several dozen new photos of the little one within the past month or two. Yet we never seem to get around to posting these photos! Here are a few from late February/early March:

Emma wearing an adorable outfit from Grandma. Unfortunately, she only was able to wear it 2-3 times before she outgrew it. Sigh...

A little laugh:

There's a smile!:

And another!:

Okay, mommy, you can stop taking photos any time now....:

Enough photos! This session is over!!
